ABOUT THE DESIGNER

Jeanette  Wright is the Chief Visionaire of Ruben Loves Me Fine Jewelry. Although  earning a BFA in Graphic Communications, she is a self taught jewelry  artist who applies her skills to body adornment, therefore making jewels  that are highly wearable and accessible. Formed in gold and or silver,   precious and semi-precious gemstones as well as other natural  materials. 

A native San Franciscan,  Jeanette has designed jewelry for many years and is extremely  passionate about the creative process. In fact, this passion borders on  obsession at times. She brings a modern and often whimsical, easy to  wear approach to her designs that oftentimes take cues from of course  the universal symbol of love (the heart) or the natural world. Delicate  and recognizable motifs as well as strong and bold silhouettes are part  of the collection Ruben Loves Me presents. It is our hope that you will  enjoy these designs and always wear in good health!

A  portion of ALL sales from Ruben Loves Me is donated to charitable  organizations with a special emphasis on the health and well-being of  women and children as well as the arts community.

OUR CRAFTSMANSHIP

At  Ruben Loves Me we present our best wearable artwork to you. Ideas come  very rapidly, however it is in the execution of these ideas that  transform a good piece of art into an exquisite work of art. We agonize  over every detail to ensure aesthetics, appeal and comfort reign  supreme. The drape of a neckpiece, the fit, size and weight of an  earring - these are the design challenges that are worked and reworked  until we are more than satisfied with the end results.

Season  after season, Ruben Loves Me designs improve and evolve, our primary  focus is to acquire the finest materials and implement them in  innovative ways and produce the best quality and craftsmanship. We  maintain our commitment to social concerns by reaching out to  organizations in dire need. It is our goal to transgress the ordinary  and move toward the extraordinary in order to keep our friends and  customers delighted with the work we do!!!

THE TREE of LIFE PENDANT

The Tree of Life pendant in a classic style was chosen as a symbol for the non-profit organization GNG (Goettingen Neighbors Group), as it represents growth, connection, strength and family. 

A portion of each sale of the Tree of Life pendant will benefit GNG, which is located in San Francisco, California. 

The fundraising goal of GNG is to construct a glazed tile staircase  highlighting statements, quotes and comments from members of our beloved  community that are titled: The Steps to Wisdom.  The staircase is adjacent to the hillside garden between Olmstead and  Dwight streets in the Portola district that GNG stewards as well as  manages.

The  Tree of Life pendant is envisioned as one of connection from the  fertile earth to the heavens, as the trunk of the tree rises into a  circular pattern while five pointed kinetic leaves direct you to the  boundless sky from its willowy but strong branches.

One side of the pendant is designed with a modern graphic, whilst the  backside displays the designers Ruben Loves Me Heart with the letters  GNG; to be spoken as “WE LOVE GNG”.
